Now I’m glad I registered my opinion as an undying fan before The Troubles. Troll spotters: don’t bother looking for me in the Pit. I gave it up for Lent, and it seems calmer that way.
Dusysays she has left the building, but all the Junior Crimestoppers know she’ll resurface, showing her old tricks (I forget what they were supposed to be, but I know you Junior Crimestoppers never forget, never forgive, and never give up).
It’s almost a challenge, a dare from her to leave her in peace. The nerve!
This thread of his sparked many offspring in the Pit. And it’s only one of many threads that seemed to stem solely from Satan’s appetite to ‘be confrontational or to raise hackles.’
The fact that Satan was never branded as a troll tells you something about what the term ‘troll’ really means around here.
Yes, it does because a troll is one who tends to start controversial topics and then either does not stick around to support his/her claims OR cannot defend his/her claims because the sole intent was to irritate people. Satan is a very intelligent poster and an accomplished debater. It’s not like he posts controversial topics and them comes back just to say, “See, I knew that would make people mad!!” He can (and does) actively defend most of his controversial views.
Actually, this thread was supposed to be ironic, because I was always being linked to trolls by the Troll Patrol. They seem to have gotten off my case lately, but I’m sure they will return and I wanted to make tham agree with me if they did. The Troll Patrol hates to agree with people, and if you disagree with them, you’re in a list that looks like this: chiungtung/water/tshirts. When you see things like that, you know a Troll Buster is talking.
tshirtz has “retired” (OK, stays banned. Sounds better the other way, is all.).
So you don’t have to say tshirtz/tshirts any more.
(Technically, tshirtz was never a troll, but might be fairly described as a stand-in. I had my son sign up with his email account, but I “influenced” the posts. That’s what families do, share. Still, it’s best to leave tshirtz unused from now on. My son doesn’t have any remaining interest in the message boards; prefers Cecil in the newspaper and books. Likes the smell of paper with his reading material. Kids today.)
