I find it telling you failed to show all those YouTube videos of a random person yelling at another random person. It’s almost like they don’t matter!
““I will say, this has been terrifying,” Katz told NBC’s Kasie Hunt during an interview alongside fellow Ford attorney Lisa Banks. “Her family has been through a lot. They are not living at home. It’s going to be quite some time before they are able to live at home. The threats have been unending. It’s deplorable. It’s been very frightening.”
Are ‘Antifa’ and the Alt-Right Equally Violent?
“Marilyn Mayo, senior research fellow for the Anti-Defamation League’s Center on Extremism, said that statistics show that radical leftists have been dramatically less likely to kill people than their counterparts on the opposite side of the political spectrum. Over the past decade, extremists of every stripe have killed 372 Americans. 74 percent of those killings were committed by right wing extremists. Only 2 percent of those deaths were at the hands of left wing extremists”
Right-wing warnings pose far more danger to America than left-wing violence.
"Alex Nowrasteh, an immigration policy analyst at the libertarian Cato Institute, has calculated that “terrorists inspired by Nationalist and Right Wing ideology have killed about 10 times as many people as Left Wing terrorists since 1992.”
“These narratives about aggressive left-wing violence aren’t just distorted. They are dangerous, because they set the stage for replacing democratic institutions with authoritarian rule. Provoking street violence and blaming it on their opponents is exactly how totalitarian regimes have gained power in the past.”

Literally 5 minutes of searching.
I may not be able to respond more until much later, but I do promise to look at all the links, take some notes and respond.
One suggestion, I might make: if their are ten people looking for examples of right on left violence, and hate speech, and only one looking in the other direction, we are likely to get a skewed result.
If we are interested in making a good analysis, than you should also look for and post counter examples.
One suggestion, I might make: if you are going to accuse one side of being increasingly and unacceptably violent, you shouldn’t be looking only one direction for data, you are likely to get a skewed result.
You asked for cites and you’re getting cites. And now you’re asking us to help you make your own argument? Are you fucking kidding us?
That raises the obvious question of why there is so much more concern about the former than about the latter. The obvious answer is that it is for the same reason there is so much more concern about the risk of contracting cancer or heart disease than there is about the risk of contracting ebola or mad cow disease.
I was aware of that, and I have been looking at both sides since prior to my return on the dope.
The attacks and threats both physical, and non physical against prominent Republicans/conservatives, including actual attempts at violence, doxxing, public harassment, are unmatched by anything the right is offering against prominent Democrats/ liberals.
Maybe it’s just me, but I would think that you would want to make “a good analysis” BEFORE you reach your conclusion. Because it certainly seems like you had your conclusion and are now working back from that and putting the onus on others to prove your conclusion.
That depends. Do you want to win the argument? Don’t help me. Just do a one-sided comparison, load up the side you favor, be prepared to attack examples that disagree with your thesis, and support those that do.
It should be easy.
But if you are interested in figuring out what reality looks like, you will need to work at it, and it will be hard.
It’s up to you. This is a good exercise for me. I’ve stacked everything against my argument by arguing here, with you, in the most hostile place I can find for my argument to see if it holds water.
You just need to decide what you want out of this.
Assumes facts not in evidence. What IS in evidence is that iiandyiii and Hamlet (two posters, not ten) are rapidly coming up with many citations of violence and threats against Democrats, which you suggest hardly exist.
You’re changing the entire slate you’re going to vote for over a few incidents, and are going to ignore similar incidents from the side you are shifting to. What sense does that make?
Well let’s see what they come up with and then tally and analyze later. Sounds dood?
U.S. sees 300 violent attacks inspired by far right every year.
" Since 2001, the number of violent attacks on U.S. soil inspired by far-right ideology has spiked to an average of more than 300 a year, according to a study by the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point.
A 2015 survey of U.S. law enforcement groups found they consider anti-government violent extremists to be a more severe threat than radicalized Muslims. And while jihadist terrorists have killed 95 people in the U.S. since 9/11, far-right extremists have killed 68 during the same time, including the car attack in Charlottesville."
After Health Vote, Threats on Democrats.
Health Care’s Ugly Aftermath: The Death Threats Mount
“This year’s divisive debate over health care reform, and the ultimate passing of a bill, seems to have brought out far more serious threats — and a more serious response from law enforcement. Telephone and e-mail threats have escalated to vandalized gas lines, envelopes containing mysterious white powder, bricks thrown through windows and threats of sniper fire against children and grandchildren. Earlier this week, a man was arrested for making death threats against Senator Patty Murray, a Washington Democrat. Soon afterward, a California man was arrested for doing the same thing to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. “The uptick in threats — I noticed it in the December time frame, and it’s been steady since then,” says Terrance Gainer, the Senate’s sergeant-at-arms, who oversees security for the nation’s 100 Senators.”
Actually I am in Pa, and I know I said earlier I was voting all Republican. I was thinking about the Federal level, and I should have been clearer.
Tom Wolf has done a really good job, he’s not left wing whacko, and he is generally balanced in the way he looks at issues. He is a respectable politician, in that he appears to be only moderately corrupt. He is getting my vote.
I don’t buy Scott Wagner’s bullshit. If I did, the shoe thing would not bother me. I don’t think it’s an actual threat, but obvious rhetorical hyperbole.
And if we’re talking about right wing violence, do we get to include normal people? People who are killed or assaulted because they’re different?

I didn’t complain. I made a suggestion contingent upon what you would like to get out of this. You don’t have to follow it, but don’t say I’m complaining.
I’m going to wait and see what is produced, go through the cites and respond after careful consideration. I did say that I may not be able to respond to them until later, so I was upfront about that as well.
