Hm. Saw a video on youtube by Thai Rivera on an Indiana Councelman saying he identifies as a woman of color. This cannot be appropiation. Either people should be treated as they identify, or maybe we can humor them, hoping they get counselling.

I think the best way to treat what is almost certainly trolling is to treat it completely seriously, as you would with anyone.
She probably wants a reaction of trans people and allies to go apoplectic over it. But, the way to make our point is to treat her with compassion, empathy, and offer her help and perhaps some tips. I bet she drops it after no more than a couple of days (maybe just hours) of female pronouns.
I’m tempted to say folks should send her tucking tips and gender affirming surgery info, but no one should be sent that stuff unsolicited.
But anyway, refuse to take the bait, don’t feed the troll, the “joke” is never really funny. I mean, beyond the “hur hur, he’s a big straight white guy, and he says he’s actually a lesbian black woman – that’s hilarious!” -coming from her own side. But they think anyone being trans is funny in that way, I think. Or, at least any guy is.
And, who knows. We know some of the most virulent homophobes have been repressed gay people. Probably some of the most virulent transphobes are actually trans people deep down.
Note: I say some, because I don’t think it’s all, and I really hate that trope when it’s taken too far. But I don’t think it’s fully wrong. Nothing is quite so threatening as acceptance of something you repress, deny, and hate, about yourself.

About the only difference that would make is a slightly taller person at the end of the process, growth in height would continue until puberty is finished. Otherwise no, to the best of my knowledge.

How, exactly, is this supposed to work? Everyone has to bring their birth certificate and government-issued ID to the toilet? Or only certain people? Will there be “Good Christian” busy-bodies stationed at the door of every public toilet in Florida to enforce this?
Not only is DeSantis passing ideologically-based hateful laws, the laws aren’t clear the details which mean arbitrary enforcement. What a shit-show.
