To be fair to them, so long as trans people continue to live meekly in the closet, and don’t tell anyone what their gender actually is, they will allow those people to participate in society.
And if a few of them commit suicide, hey, it’s probably for the best, right?
Apropos of the last few posts (and swapping out “gender” for “religion”), that’s also how many of “them” feel about Jews.
The impression I got is that trans people are all pedophiles grooming children (though that applies to the entire LGBTQ+ community). Also, the men who dress up and pretend to be women so they can sneak into women’s locker rooms and bathrooms to rape them.
With that mindset, no wonder the right freaks out about trans people like they’re almost as scary as people of color (despite being less than 1% of the population overall).

This makes no sense. Everyone who desired to have a “biological”[sic] man boy compete with girls also voted against the obviously unqualified candidate. It was only those on the other side whose desire for bigotry prevented them from voting in favor of freedom and prosperity.

I spelled biological correctly so I don’t know what the sic is about, I also said male not man, so I don’t know what that crossing out is about either.
The quote in Zoobi’s post is assuming that the cohort worried about transgender issues is large enough that they tipped the balance, the logical extension of Zoobi’s post being that if it weren’t an issue Trump wouldn’t have won.

Then it is that cohort who thought who gets to compete in women’s sports is more important than prosperity or Democracy.
In Florida, a transwoman was arrested after purposely violating their bathroom law. In a twist, they arrested her under a different law, “trespass on property after notice” or something.

Count me amongst the bigoted, but my biggest reaction to that, is that she chose to recite the rosary prayer… a Catholic religious artifact. The Catholic church are fairly staunchly against the idea that transgender can even exist, let alone that there are real, breathing transgender people.
Fuck the pope and his horde of ignorant, arrogant followers.
I hope this lady chooses a more accepting religion.
