Apparently trolling is allowed in the pit now I guess. I dunno, it’s still in the rules, but I guess it’s not enforced. But that shit goes on in elections and great debates, too. I like this forum. People like Clothahump actively make this forum worse. They offer nothing of value and are indistinguishable from shitty trolls.
Someone in another thread mentioned that you aren’t even American. Which begs the question: why are spending all this time and effort sticking your tongue up Trump’s filthy, diseased asshole?

Not advocating censorship is different than agreeing with content. Are you folks really this daft? It’s like you guys have the emotional wiring of a 9 year old. Use the rational part of your brain and realize that the rules of this forum allow a certain tone and a certain language and if you don’t like it stop engaging! That’s not the same as agreeing with whomever. In some ways having to explain this is exasperating because these are simple concepts.
Whether or not poster A, B, or C is trolling is a matter of opinion. And the fact is your opinion doesn’t matter for that determination. You have made it clear you’d rather censor someone than ignore them. That’s sad and cowardly. Especially since you use the same rules of the pit to attack these people. You are being a hypocrite.
And if you don’t like what poster A, B, or C has to say the solution is extraordinarily easy. Put them on ignore and get on with leading a productive life conversing with those you want to converse with.
Personally, I don’t put people on ignore because I like contrary opinions and points of view. Different people have different thresholds of tolerance for dissenting points of view or for not so polite discourse. And that’s their personal choice. Why ban someone though when you can handle the situation yourself? That seems to be an obsessive, vindictive grudge and how’s that good?

Read the OP. You have an affinity for the OP’s point of view so his or her well poisoning at the very start isn’t even noticed! How should someone respond to a topic in which the very first post is a series of ad-hominem attacks on a political figure that that someone may be in favor of? The tone was set in the first post!
Look how Bone moderated it. He apparently recognized that it just wasn’t clothahump threadshitting/trolling a thread that was productive and civil up until clothahump’s entrance. There wasn’t even a note or warning issued and if trolling in the Pit can get you banned you’d think obvious trolling outside the Pit would at least warrant a note for a poster instead of a general calm down for the thread if the mods thought it was appropriate.
The thing is feelings you personally feel because you or your beliefs are the target of snark and jackassery are of course going to feel like a greater sin than the barbs thrown at the opposition that you may agree with. The empathy towards the target is generally less than one’s own irritation, aggravation, or pain.
Let’s address the bigger question though. Is it desirable in a forum that allows attacks on some ideologies, politicians, and their supporters to somehow demand a subset of the membership be held to a higher standard? Why is it ok, on one hand, to call Trump supporters racist, misogynist, stupid, inbred, perverse, sadistic, evil, fascist, homophobic, xenophobic, didImissaphobic? and on the other hand referring to a liberal as a snowflake is trolling?
We had a thread closed, no warning issued, where a member wanted to skullfuck children. I think we can deal with Clothahump and others saying snowflake, librul, and Democrat Party.

Although you people may not realize it what American Presidents do, for better or worse, has a profound effect on the world, which is why on this American board I interest myself in American politics. Another reason is that I have an adult son living in Kentucky.
As for mama’s basement, I’m in my late 60s and my parents are long dead. Nice try though to inject hatred of the English into this, although perhaps its effect is a little muted by your using the English language to do it.
