Request cookie recipe to be used for seduction purposes

My husband adores peanut butter in cookies, so I think you had better do some questioning of your intended recipient. BTW, his favorite cookie is a chocolate cookie with a soft peanut butter middle. I got the recipe out of coupon circular over 10 years ago.

He’s Jewish. Grandparents on both sides were Russian immigrants. Any quintessentially Russian Jewish cookies?

Too many flavors.

I love oatmeal cookies with raisins – the flavors complement each other. I don’t think peanut butter or chocolate should be in oatmeal cookies. The flavors muddy each other.

Exactly how peanut butter cookies or chocolate chip cookies should be. Not, however, how oatmeal cookies should be (which is heavily half-moist) – another reason not to combine oatmeal with peanut butter or chocolate.

Beet and vodka rugala?

Actually, that sounds pretty good . . .

I can bake and I have lavender hand cream.

Keep it simple. Good Toll House cookies would do it for me. :stuck_out_tongue:

You guys are nuts (except for Miss Woodhouse). Hot from the oven, peanut butter-chocolate chunk cookies with chocolate oozing out. Make sure you make it with butter, not shortening. If he really doesn’t like peanut butter, then regular chocolate chip cookies with chocolate chunks is still the greatest cookie ever made.

Those tiny chocolate chips aren’t as good as nice chocolate chunks. They’re more of a tease than a promise.

I never use shortening. Crisco is the work of the devil. I only use butter, and Plugra butter at that.

Ayup - brownies.
Of course you invite him over or arrange for him to pick you up for something, invite him in and casually offer him a brownie. Mention you like making little treats and do it often. Wait for him to take a bite and offer him a drink. Have a few options available; as wierd as it sounds some men don’t drink milk with brownies - this should be considered a warning sign but if you really like him…

Once he’s about 1/2 way through and just about hooked, casually place your hand on his arm, look him in the eye, smile wide, coyly tilt your head and tell him how happy you are he likes them…

At least that’s how in went down in my dream last week and it was AWESOME (swear to God that’s true)

You dreamed about me last week and knew I would ask about this? VERY cool!
(I wish it we’re true. I would like my own soothsayer.)

Not sure if it was you - do you look suspiciously like Maureen O’Hara in The Quiet Man? If so, then maybe.

Carl Reiner’s Fucking Good Cookies

But you have to find the original video on Youtube (not that I can find it) else they won’t be the same.

And they’re really fucking good cookies!

Look, you bake a guy any kind of cookies and he’s yours. Heck, burn a pan of 'em, and he’ll still be so touched by your effort that he might just propose on the spot.

Oh man, a good snickerdoodle would do it for me. Barring that, just give me a good chocolate chip cookie. No need to get fancy. Or, if you’ve got the time and energy, just bake an assortment and cover all your bases.

If he is anything like me just the fact that you made him brownies will push him towards you.

When people ask what’s the most “romantic” thing my SO has done for me I tell them of the time I was playing computer games and next thing I knew she had put a plate of brownies and a glass of milk on my desk for me.

She’s a keeper.

I don’t have a specific recipe in hand, but fire up the google and search for “amaretti” cookies. They’re real simple to make (sugar, egg whites, and almond paste…no flour) and not particularly exotic looking, yet they are oh, so tasty (a little crusty on the outside, soft and chewy inside). Keep searching and you should find some chocolate versions, too.

Little Malienation is gettin’ revved up just from thinking about 'em. Just so’s ya know…

BTW, I love your seduction strategy.

Not quite a cookie, but I’ve found putting a thin layer of cookie dough on top of a croissant wedge before rolling it up leads to a delightful pastry.

Hmmm…interesting… I DO have red hair.

Pulykamell, I like your assortment suggestion.

Buy a variety of cookies and anonymously make them accessible. See which one he grabs first and then make that kind.
