The “explanation” as to what Lucas_Jackson meant also baffles and concerns me, as well as the posts who don’t see the obvious problems.

The word “thread” was used. To claim that YouTube itself is the “thread” doesn’t make any sense to me.

Which brings up the question: can AI fabricate false stories like this? I don’t think this account (the lifeboat) is true but it does seem very specific.

ETA: and why post shit like this is it isn’t true?

Lucas: Can AIs make false stories like this? Also, why would someone post a shitty false video?

I think you read the final sentence as, “You’re wrong that it’s an AI video. Why would you post some obviously untrue shit like that?” But I don’t think that’s a clear reading, given Lucas’s calling the video a “false story.”
