Resident Alien, aka Quincy, E.T

Well enough that they ended it now. Another season and Max would almost be old enough to be on Stranger Things.

Imagine the Sheriff and Liv hijinx!

When they showed that clip of Max seeing Harry for the first time, we squeed at how little he was.

I got surprisingly choked up at the end. I’m really going to miss these people and their town. And I – Son of a Bitch! – want some pie.

Yes, the show was setting them up for an interesting experience working for the feds. Early on, the sheriff seemed to underestimate or ignore Liv, though she seemed to have better instincts than him.

I thought we made it clear, we’re not the feds!

I had been watching this on the USA app which after ep 4 had suddenly started demanding I sign in via Peacock. The show seemed to be dropping in quality at that point so I hadn’t cared much.

Then a few days back I happened on to it being available on Hulu. Damn the quality picked up again fast! Binged the rest of the season.

How much do you think we will be seeing the not Tudyk regulars in other shows or movies?

Who knows. But they’ll probably be stuck typecast into TV SF from now on.

Gary Farmer, a First Nations man from Canada has a long acting career. Sara Tomko might be typecast but I doubt it.

He was looking pretty rough by the end of RA, I doubt he has many appearances left in him.

When is Season Four coming to Netflix?

Gary Farmer has cancer, and he made this great speech in one episode which seemed to be an indirect reference to that.

He had a great three year stint on Reservation Dogs fairly recently. He played Uncle Brownie.

I was wondering why the character disappeared for much of the season.

I did not know that- thanks. I hope he recovers.

Nice when a show can end strong. I enjoyed that final episode a lot and I hope the spin-off gets picked up.
