I’ve never really played any of the resident evils, as (correct me if I’m wrong) but it’s a console based series. I’ve heard good things from console players about the game, with the exception of the controls (You can’t move while shooting?! Is that “feature” removed for the PC version?), they all praise it.
I’m debating between BAtman and this. What would you pick?
Resident Evil 5 is trash. Boring, ugly-looking game; horrible awkward controls and weapon interface; real pig of a game. I haven’t even played the Batman game but I’d recommend it over RE5 anyway, just because I can’t imagine it being worse.

Batman: Arkham Asylum is flippin amazing. I cant vouch for the pc version, but the game itself is sweetness.

I like RE5 a lot, but it doesn’t hold a candle to Arkham Asylum. Go with the Bat.
This is based on the XBox 360 versions of both games, fwiw.
Based only on the demo, the controls for the PC version of Batman are shite. Moving the mouse moves the camera, but at the same time, clicking the mouse buttons attacks, so the very act of just attacking causes the camera to move around, which in turn changes what direction you’re attacking in.
Well, I disliked Batman significantly less.
