That’s right; the man who brought us books about Baseball and The Civil War as well as numerous PBS documentaries about these and other topics and the Pulitzer Prize-winning humor columnist from the Miami Herald are one and the same. I came to this realization while watching an interview with “Ken Burns” on CNN last night. Why two different personas? To distinguish between the serious PBS documentary creator and the wacky Miami Herald “booger journalist,” of course. Don’t believe me? See for yourself.
Although last night I noticed that Mr. Barry had glued a Van Dyke to the face of his Ken Burns persona. He must realize that we’re on to his little scheme.
