Resolved: there is no such thing as "gay sex"

Do you mean they’re both so drunk they think they are sucking a woman’s penis? Or are two straight male prostitutes paying each other for sex?

Well, men don’t exactly fuck other men in the vagina.

What, no overtime? Let’s go: some women have clitori big enough to suck just like a shlong.

How about muff grinding?

At risk of opening up several 24-packs of worms,

does not necessarily apply to transsexuals.

Oh, wait, Matt beat me to it. Well, the point stands.

Is so. It’s pretty good, too.

robertliguori, it is extremely rare for FTMs who have not had “bottom surgery” to consent to vaginal intercourse, but I imagine it happens – and of course there is always rape.

It is not unusual for MTFs to consent to fellatio prior to surgery.

I adamantly refuse to discuss the details of my sex life, so don’t even bother asking me about what acts I might be willing to engage in.

It is theoretically possible for two women to suck each other’s cocks – and I am reasonably certain it has happened. There are a lot of MTF-MTF couples out there. Of course, I suppose that still counts as gay sex.

Well techinically, by your very own strict English language standards, there’s no such thing as “oral intercourse” within the context you described.

I mean it’s pretty hard to talk when your mouth is full, difficult to carry on a conversation when your neck is crimped and damn near impossible to keep your thoughts straight when your mind is focused on carnal delights.

I think this might be a kind of parody thread?

You know, like making the “definition” of marriage exclusively between a man and a woman…are they going to redefine “sex” as “genital or oral-genital intercourse between a man and a woman?”
I kind of hope so, 'cos that would mean that the homophobes won’t have a leg to stand on…

“Gay sex is wrong!
“well, since technically, what homosecuals do isn’t sex, quit your bitching!”

Unless I’ve been double-whooshed here.

So how should a straight male react if some smokin’ beauty of a woman offers to have gay sex with him?

Is it OK for a straight guy or gal to have straight sex with a same sex partner?

I don’t know the answers, but either way the implications are staggering.

But surely it is the contempt that is wrong, rather than the distinction; consider the term “Jewish food” - it is a perfectly legitimate distinction - even though the food in question may consist of the same kind of ingredients as found in non-Jewish food, it is different enough to warrant a distinctive term.
But if one were to consider the food contemptible because it is Jewish, rather than on its own merits, that would be a bad thing.

That said, I can’t think of a long list of legitimate everyday uses for the term ‘gay sex’ - I’d consider it more redundant than offensive.

Well, if a guy made love to a woman while reciting poetry on a bed sorrounded by bouquets of liles- that would be pretty gay. At least, that’s what my inner 12-year old says.

Re-resolved: there is no sexual action that gays do that straight’s don’t, although perhaps not often and with less enthusiasm. Conversely, gay sex is a natural term to describe sex acts comitted by one or more gay people. It therefore follows naturally that any sex acts involving both gay and straight people are both gay and straight sex. This follows the naturally established pattern if bisexual people join in the action.

Who knew semantics could be this much fun?

According to something I read ages ago, the Eskimo refer to sex as “laughing together”.
Sounds pretty gay to me.

Oh, everybody, get off nisobar’s back! (umm…ok, maybe not the best choice of phrase in a thread involving anal sex, but, there you are…)

He has a pefectly valid point. Homophobes love to play on some people’s distaste for (in particular) anal sex, and use it to encourage the idea that 1. Sex between gay people is dirty and disgusting and 2. It all about some weird sex act, and not love and commitment like it is with heterosexuals (or,at least, about love and commitment as often as it is with heterosexuals :)).

It’s certainly helpfully to them to ignore the fact that all kinds of sick twisted depraved acts ™ are carried out by couples who are legally married, and, rather, use the idea of sick twisted depraved acts ™ as a reason homosexuals should not be allowed to.

It gives some people (cough His4Life cough) the idea that it make sense to include, along with “god doesn’t like it”, the “concern for health and hygiene” as a valid objection to homosexuality and homosexual rights.

True, it’s not going to stop homophobia. But the idea of “gay sex” that i think nisobar is talking about is worth dismalteling because it’s innacurate…and as far as fighting homophobia…it couldn’t hurt :).

Let’s try an experiment.

Get a straight guy and have him drop his pants and close his eyes.

Get a gay guy to suck his cock.

Get a straight woman to suck his cock.

See if the straight guy can tell the difference between gay sex and straight sex.

Peace.

“Here, ma’am, you’ll have to strap this on for phase two of our experiment.”

The gay guy doesn’t use his teeth.

d&r

That was hilarious.

Yes, the OP was badly phrased. I’ll read it as “Despite efforts of homophobes to imply otherwise, there are no sex acts synonymous with sex between/involving gay people.”

Once I’d figured out what it meant, I thought yeah, good point.

But, aren’t there any exceptions? It’s not a topic I’ve considered but is there nothing involving (ignorance and alliteration alert) bouncing a penis off a prostate, or a double-ended dildo, that only people with similar equipment do?

This is easy. The straight woman will stop every few minutes to share another interesting anecdote about her day, ultimately pausing just before the critical moment to remark that it seems to be taking a long time.
