It being almost Easter, an article about deviled aig plates
WOOHOOOO! I made it into a MMP thread while it’s still Monday! That never happens for me! Usually I get here when it’s Sunday and I figure… “Ah, what the heck… it’s almost over!” and don’t post but just lurk through it… I MADE IT THIS TIME!
HI EVERYBODY!
It’s spring here in northern Wisconsin… that means… let me see… rain today. Yesterday was a mix of snow and rain and ice and wind. Tomorrow they say rain. Supposed to be almost 70 F on Wednesday… then Thursday more um… snow I think. Yes it’s spring.
rushes through scattering marshmallow peeps for all the good boys and girls…
Hey Fluffers! And that kind of weather is why my family move to N.C. from Wisconsin.
Hi there, Sniffer!
What kinda peeps you got? Bunnies, chicks, chocolate dipped ones? What color(s)?
::Hip checks dogbutt into the boards & steals his peeps:: :o
::nomnomnomnomnomnom before he gets up::
Squirrels destroy carnivorous plants to eat the bugs they trap, particularly Saraceninia.
A guy on a CP newslist captured squirrels in have a heart traps, and drowned them by submerging the traps in a tub of water.
I suspect you will find some beer in a storage container close to your house. Go one in!
peeps! om nom nom!

::hugs fluffy with my sticky hands::*
: crosschecks **Spidey ** into the bench, passes Peeps to rosie :
I fed mt dog and Step Daughter’s (v.3.0) Pomeranian raw chicken as I trimmed off fat, and it took quite a while to get it out of the Pomeranian’s hair.
Anti nom-nom.
You can have the dibs ------ I’ll take all the raisin cookies just likem they are ---- dib-free
<assuming my Amish accent>
<which is especially tough on a computer>
Did you hear about the Mennonite who filled his barn up with grapes? He had heard that barn raisins are a whole lot of fun.
Dumb-ass Mennonite
I remember spending several hours trying to explain to an older attorney that his signature on the fax was NOT legal – he needed to send the original via mail as well. And him just NOT getting the concept that what was sent was the data — not the original. That what was received was, for lack of a better expression he would understand, a photocopy.
Long story short ----- got a call this AM from a life-long friend. Her daughters boyfriend OD’d in their house yesterday while he was alone and they found him dead. Friend is stage 4 cancer and doesn’t need this drama. No idea right now how the repercussions are going to fall but Dead Boyfriend has family and Daughter is already on probation from something else. And nothing good can come of any of this ------- just less damage some ways than others. Thank God for work ---- I need the distraction and an excuse not to get too involved or trying to help more than just support and a loving ear.
Crap, **Ruble **. That sucks.
Up, caffeinated, off to work.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up, caffeinated, and purtified so no YAWN. ‘Tis 59 Amurrkin and foggy out with a predicted high of 79 for the day and sunny. Thus, I have chosen to wear a short sleeved shirt. If there is news of a ragin’ blizzard in south Jawja later today, y’all will know why.
ruble that sounds like a wise choice. Sometimes all you can do is be supportive.
Fluffers I will gladly let the others have all those foul, disgustin’ things known as peeps. ICK!
We’re goin’ out for brekkies this mornin’. Bein’ the gourmets we are, we’re goin’ to Hardee’s. I here rumblin’s from the bedroom which must mean OYKW is ready to go.
Happy Tuesday Y’all!
Welcome, Fluffers!! Your name always reminds me of one of my sister’s dearly departed pups, whose full name was Simon Alexander Fluffersniffer.
Good morning! Today should be a good transplanting day, since we’re promised rain tonight. So top of my chore list is moving the roses. I need to pound the plant food spikes along the forsythia hedge, too. The other chore involves a trek to the credit union to deposit a check and move some money around.
And it’s the last day of the month, so the pittance that passes for my retirement pay should be in our other credit union, ready to be sucked up by mortgage and various other bills. I wonder if we’ll be in this house long enough to see the mortgage paid off - 16 more years by my count. It’ll be like a pay raise when it happens. Lessee, in 16 years, I’ll be 77… yeah, it could happen. But will we still be Mumping??
Thus begins another day in paradise. Happy Tuesday!
PS: I also will pass on the peeps. <shudder>
Blurf.
Today marks the end of an era, the reign of the Foomobile. My '91 Chevy Beretta, bright red and named for Smokey Stover’s preposterous little red car, will be gone when I get home from irk today, towed away by a charity as a donation.
Good riddance. I drove it home from irk two years ago after the orifice Christmas partaaay, never to start it again. Over it’s life as the Foomobile, I put 80K miles on it, and had many fire/rescue adventures with it, but I also drove it into the ground. :puts hand on heart and bows head for moment of silence.:
But wait, there’s more! We are a two vehicle family, having bought a '14 Hyundai last Thursday. That car is still in need of a name, and I lean towards ‘Pearl’ at the moment
What kind of Hyundai did you get? We’ve been quite happy with our Sonata - that car has a HUGE trunk!!!
Elantra hatchback.
Poor, poor, Swampy! There is no longer a shortage of sharks to fill the skies in Jawja.
Doggio, can you bring home some colanders from the sto’.
::ERRRT:: ::ERRRT:: ::ERRRT::
*This emergency National Weather Service update is for Pirate, Kansas (Arrrgh).
Take cover IMMEDIATELY! We have reports of an unusual squirrel storm approaching! That’s right, those wonderful, cute, furry lil’ critters are FALLING FROM THE SKY!!! :eek:
*
Didja read where I (started) eating them before you got up??? :smack:
::Gives some of mine to Rosie::
Sorry, Ruble.
V-Bob, I’m really surprised you didn’t donate it to the local FD. (You get more of a tax-deduction that way & they get a vehicle to practice on.)
Happy Toosday!
It’s a cloudy 46 degrees, supposed to get up to the mid 50s today. Also supposed to rain,
I have been up since 1:30am and still can’t sleep. We’ll see how long this lasts before I am ready to crash.
Anybody who wants them can have my peeps as well, although they are better than circus peanuts and candy corn.
My great-grandfather lived on circus peanuts and rc cola, he always had them there for us when we came to visit. He lived to be almost 102 so I guess they didn’t hurt him any.
Congrats **Bobbio **
