To be honest, I’m actually glad he passed while Joe Biden is still president, as Biden will ensure his funeral is treated properly (with a state funeral if that’s what Carter and his family wanted). I would not be sure of Trump doing so

I suppose Trump will attend. I don’t think Carter was the type of person, like McCain, to basically state outright that Trump should not be there.
