Anybody know of any holiday specials on gift cards. So far all I’ve found are Pizza Ranch (buy $50 in cards and get $5) and Applebees (buy $50 and get $10).
Not a holiday special, but throughout the year, Costco sells discounted gift cards to local restaurants. (Like $100 in value for $80.) My mother buys them from time to time for when we go out together.
As noted, wholesale clubs have them. I saw one yesterday for Pizzeria Uno at mine yesterday but it was only about a 20% savings. You will will probably have better luck (year-round) by signing up for restaurant.com. It is free and they have some amazing deals sometimes. 50% - 70% off or more is common for their deals. Groupon also has an number of them.
Outback usually has a $20 bonus card when you buy $100. We usually buy $100 and just use them ourselves. They are good at Bonefish also.
Immediate 20% increase in our dining out budget.
That’s what I do, I don’t give them away. I’m having a hard time finding any decent specials on them though. Don’t have an Outback here, don’t have Costco or any other wholesale club here, don’t have Pizzeria Uno here.
For major chains we have Subway, Pizza Hut, Pizza Ranch, McDonalds, Burger King, Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Applebee’s, and Qdoba. We are getting a Whiskey Creek, but they are still in the process of building it so I don’t see it being open before Christmas.
Steak and Shake gives $5 for every $20 card bought. We like to buy them on the way in and use them on the way out.
Damn, that’s a good deal. Unfortunately our Steak and Shake closed several years ago. As a matter of fact, that’s where Pizza Ranch is now.
