Retail Stupidity

This was originally directed towards someone else, but…

Some of my co-workers are diabetics. If their sugar is crashing we’d far rather they eat something at a register than pass out at a register. As just one example of why someone may be eating a register even though that’s normally not a thing.

What do you do if you get hungry and it’s time for your break and you have a long line at the register?

You grab some food, eat at the register, and take your break later. You do NOT close your line if there are people on it.

Unless it’s a Kreetassan store there’s no problem.

The latest gambit seems to be calling a store, asking if they have some item, asking again when the person says “No, I’m sorry we don’t carry that,” asking again and upon getting a negative response, saying “DO YOU KNOW WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT?” I had three such calls last week.

Yes, I know what Pokemon cards are and I know we don’t have them, so Shut Up!
