Reverse plot game

Peter Pan

Pulp Fiction.

Nope, but possibly getting closer.

yep. Too obvious I guess. I gotta think of a more tricky one

pravnik, here’s some guesses
* MacBeth

 • Richard III
 • King Arthur saga
That’s all I’ve got for now.

The Odyssey

During a labor dispute, some dirty scabs get into a clash with the normal employees both in a bar and later at the job site. The scabs consist of a foreigner with a gambling addition, an ex-employee, a convict, a man with anger issues, and others with various job-performance issues.

Major League

A respected honest businessman is visited by his former partner, who makes demands on his hard earned wealth. When the businessman refuses he is visited by several enforcers, the last of whom threatens dire consequences should he continue to refuse.

A Christmas Carol

Close, but not quite right. The people in that film were not “scabs” if I remember correctly. Scrubs maybe, but not scabs.

The Replacements

Yes.

A creepy young man, known for his profanity, furry fetish, and violent outbursts, is disturbingly obsessed with obtaining a weapon. The responsible adults around him warn of possible facial disfigurations that could occur by discharging the weapon, but his desire only increases. Using all kinds of trickery, he finally obtains the weapon and prompty fires it into someone’s face, then makes up a lie to cover up his actions. Later he celebrates a holiday by watching an Asian gentleman decapitate an animal with a butcher knife.

A Christmas Story

No…

Yes, of course it is!

Savvy entrepreneur completes profitable transaction after supernatural intervention convinces a debtor to pay his bills.

It’s not eerie. it’s intentional. The Lion King is a straight copy of Hamlet.

The Odyssey?

It’s a Wonderful Life. Didn’t we do that already?

A benevolent entity and her subordinants attempt to permanently fix humanity’s problems once and for all, only to be foiled by a cop and a scientist operating well outside of the law.

Guess so. Ah well, at least I focused on different plot elements.

Yes! Good job.
