Whats the status of the reward money awarded? Is there a list of the people who recieved it? How promptly did the US pay? What branch of government of responsible for coming up with and paying the money?
The $30 million for the deaths of Uday and Qusay has been paid out. For obvious reasons, the name of the person who received the money is not being made public. It took a year to pay out the money because they needed to move the man and his family into the equivalent of the witness protection program in another country.
The military captured Saddam, and they are not eligible for that reward.
