Yep that’s right: tonight Richard from Survivor appeared on the Australian Who Wants To Be A Millionaire (celebrity edition). How’d he do? Well, he started off well getting the first couple of questions confidently (but the first five or six are dead easy on celebrity editions because half goes to charity) then got the question “What is 11 x 12?”

You guessed it. The man may be good at surviving on a desert island but not on an Aussie quiz show. He chose - from the multi-choice format - 123.

I saw that! But why didn’t Eddie McGuire (host) help him with hints? He gave other people hints early on.

I saw that too, and I was glad that we got to see an American celebrity who was as goofy as the Australian ‘celebs’ who were on as well.

Dunno what it says about ‘Survival of the Smartest’.

Hmm… Survivor II is currently filming in Australia, and “Fat Naked Fag” (his words, not mine) is in Australia.

And now every second US talk show interviewer will ask him “So Richard… what’s 11 x 12?”
Richard isn’t hosting Survivor II but last week aired a suggestion on an Oz talkshow that an Australian version be done with him as host. Channel Nine liked the idea and apparently negotiations have begun…
