Okay, I settled down to watch the last Survivor episode. I purposely avoided any spoilers. Rain storm. Power goes out for two hours and fifteen minutes. Now Bryant Gumbel is interviewing all the participants. What do bugs taste like? Who did who? Etc. etc.
That was our reaction too. I don’t know how you could apply for the second survivor contest, but being that it will be in the Australian outback, you might want to think twice about it.
Indeed. At first, I was pulling for her. She’s a trucker, probably needs the money more than most of the others, and definitely more than Rich. However, judging from some of the comments by the jurors, it seems her speech may have actually swung some votes to Kelly. She did get her wish, however, and she was the vote that denied Kelly the cash. I’m still surprised Rich won.
tonight was the first time i’ve ever actually watched the show, and i only caught the last half while waiting for the 10:00 news, which was, of course, all about Survivor.
Anyway, that dude who’s “interrogation” consisted of “pick a number between one and ten” made me laugh.
I am shocked shocked that the so-called “hippest people on the planet” were able to bring themselves to watch such patent drivel for even one full episode, let alone following it for long enough to develop emotions about the pathetic losers who subjected themselves to this pornography.
Actually, I think you’re a little late. The next one starts shooting in not too long (in mid-September, I believe), and they have already taken audition tapes for it. They’ve also already discarded quite a few, enough so that the news is now showing those tapes. They’re pretty funny. But anyway, to answer your question, you’re too late.
Complemented and insulted in the same paragraph. Impressive. Hmmm, I believe this is more Pit talk, or you could give your humble opinion in IMHO. I won’t bother flaming you because this isn’t the place. Plus, I really couldn’t care less.
APB9999, I found a site with the info you were looking for: http://www.3bigshows.com/survivor-version2.html
The taping begins in October, but (like I thought) the audition tapes were already due. The due date was July 28, and apparently 1000’s were received.
Leigh-Anne and I had never, ever watched the show before last night, so I don’t know anything, really, about the individuals involved, but this Sue missed a perfect opportunity to rephrase part of her tirade to say, “If I came across you and you were dying of thirst, I wouldn’t even piss in your mouth.” That would have at least made it entertaining rather than simply uncomfortable.
The “factual” OP having been answered, I’m going to close this thread and recommend that folks wishing to discuss this check out one of the 50,000 other threads on this board dedicated to a TV show.
