My favorite Beatle from my favorite all-time group ever - in concert, tomorrow (Sunday) night - I am so excited!
I’m envious. Enjoy!
Ringo and the All Starrs always put on a fun show–have a great time! I saw a couple of tours in the 90s–band members included Todd Rundgren, Mark Farner, John Entwistle, Randy Bachman and others.
Peace and Love!
I’m taking my 22 year old daughter with me - we’ll see how she likes “old people’s music,” as she calls it.
Have a great time! Ringo’s not coming anywhere near me this year. Please blow a kiss to Steve Lukather (guitarist) for me.
Saw his show in LA several years ago at the Greek and it was great. The only one I remember besides Ringo was Dr. John and he was Fab-u-lous. In a many-colored caftan with an incredible thing on his head, playing the hell out of the piano.
Have a wonderful time!
Ringo put out a cool book a while back called “Postcards From The Boys” – a collection of cards that John, Paul and George sent him over the years. Some of the ones from Paul are addressed to “Richard Stark”, one of Johns is to “Ringo! The Starrs”.
I got to take my daughter to see him 2 years ago, almost to the day, at Hartman Arena in Park City, KS (home of the BTK). It was a great show. Our seats were right behind and above the light person. She had a set list on her console. We were too far to read the list, but in big red letters at the top it said something like: “Yes, this is my set list. No, you can’t have it!”

He does a couple from his 2003 album Ringo-Rama:
Never Without You
Memphis In Your Mind
He may do some from his later albums, too.
We had an amazing time! He did not do Octopus’s Garden, unfortunately, as that’s my favorite song of his from the Beatles. The really sad part was that the Saturday night show was sold out, so they added a Sunday show (the one we went to). There were only about 1200 people there, so the place was more than half empty. The entire upper deck was devoid of people.
But, all in all, people all seemed to walk out happy, and I guess that’s what counts.
