65 years old, no cause described yet. He ended up being more entertaining than I expected. I mostly saw him doing his kids or AFV stuff early on, and then started to see the really raunchy (and funny) things he did. RIP

For years I only knew him from Full House and had no idea his stand up routines were raunchy. I was surprised when he had a cameo in Half Baked where Sagat plays a cocaine addict upset that Dave Chappelle showed up to the support group for a weed addiction they all agree is innocuous. Hearing the dad from Full House ask, “You ever suck dick for weed?” was a little shocking.
I didn’t expect to hear of Bob’s death any time soon.

The first news report I saw was titled “Bob Saget Found Dead in Orlando Hotel Room” and my first thought was “That’s the saddest headline I’ve seen in a long time.” And not the way I’d want to go…

He was in an episode of the short lived show Huff (with Hank Azaria, Paget Brewster, Blythe Danner and Oliver Platt amongst others).
He played a character with a wholesome public persona who was also an actor most known for his leading role in a show called “America’s Favorite Dad”. However he’s an alcoholic and a trope-y coke head*.
*I’m not making this up, right? Does anyone else remember it? I’m surprised I couldn’t find a video or picture of him on the show.
I went to Bob’s Twitter. He did a 2 hour set and seemed excited about the tour. Still looks about the same.
I guess he didn’t know his remaining time here was short. At least his last memories were good. 
I messaged a friend of mine: “he was found alone in a hotel room, already DOA. Ten bucks says it was drugs or a heart attack.”
My friend, who was an actual fan of his and watched his comedy routines whenever she could, replied :“or both.”
The cops say there was no sign of drugs, so I’m curious to see what the official cause of death will be.
I watched Full House religiously as a kid but never really paid attention to Saget after that. Apparently he actually had some pretty good stand-up.
