Dammit. I like her music.
I had to Google who she was. I’d never heard of her.
Apparently she was fantastic singer (2 Grammies) but since she’s best known for doing jazz covers of pop music she was never on my radar.
I guess I’m going to look up some of her music now. I’m intrigued.
I knew her name, her appearance and her status, I saw and heard her a few times on (German) TV. Her jazz-pop style is not my music, though I don’t hate it, and it was clear that she was a great singer.
