The inventor of the Pink Flamingo.

I shall dress my flamingos in sack cloth & ashes to mourn.
I shall shed pink tears.
My daughter was given a pink flamingo with her team number on it when she finished up Field Hockey this year (she’s a graduating senior). We stuck it in the planter next to our front door.
I put an Elf Hat that we had lying around on its head for Christmas. It covered not only the head, but part of the body, which I thought was funny. But Pepper Mill thought it went overboard. She found a miniature elf costume (for hamsters, apparently), and dressed it in that.
Ever since, she’s been finding miniature clothes from somewhere or making them to fit the Pink Flamingo for different occasions. It’s worn a sweater this spring, a prom gown when MilliCal had her prom, and a graduation gown (and mortarboard) when she graduated.
She may have to make a mourning dress now…
Man, too bad SNL isn’t up and running right now.
