I read this yesterday and was surprised it hadn’t generated a thread yet. Sadly, the first thing that came to mind was a rather sick joke:
Just keep Jr. away from the body.
I laughed.
The AP citation does mention that RFK Jr is one of her children, but I was interested that several of the news reports did NOT mention that. I wonder if the family asked that he not be identified as her relative in announcements, or if news organizations made that choice themselves just out of decency.
Five of her other children have publicly condemned RFK Jr. for his actions this election cycle. They may be granting interviews about their mother on the condition that little be mentioned about the black sheep.
