Reading her Wikipedia bio is illuminating - she apparently had quite a career before Laugh-In, and not much of one afterwards (the only thing I saw her in after it was a TV commercial that riffed on her Laugh-in act).
And … she was married to Burt Reynolds??? And before Laugh-in at that?

For future reference, Mediamass is a satire site. It’s People section lists quite a few people having death hoaxes (those selected at random, looks like every person who isn’t already dead has one). I assume that when someone on their extensive list actually dies, they change the page, eventually.

Damn. She was one of my Laugh-In favorites. Loved her voice and her legs. I thought the sock it to me routine was lame but hey, anything to see Judy.
The one on Ashlee Simpson is particularly jarring since the byline on that one (and all the other ones) is “Jessica Simpson.” :eek:
