Story here.
Hard to believe he outlived two of his TV kids.
Wahtchoo talkin 'bout, Willis?
(too soon?)
His identical twin (Bonar Bain, a.k.a. Hank Bain, a.k.a. Zontar) just keeps on trucking, though!
It would have been cool if his twin had been named Darnoc.
He seemed like a likable role model, playing himself, rather than being an actor playing a role.
Was it one, or a series of different strokes that killed him?
You owe me a new keyboard, mine now has lemonade spit all over it.
Wow, I figured he died a long time ago.

He seemed like a really nice guy. Todd Bridges calls him a father figure off screen.
I first remember him from Maude. He played Walter’s old army buddy friend. Walter was Maude’s husband.
Great photo with Conrad Bain, as Arthur Harmon) (left) and American actors Bill Macy (as Walter Findlay) and Rue McClanahan (as Vivian Harmon) in a scene from Maude.

Bill Macy is the only one left alive.
God! Bill Macy is still alive! The last time I saw him was when he played a demon in an outstanding episode of Millennium, and that was more than fifteen years ago and he looked ancient then!
I assume that was from that great SCTV episode?
Of course. They renamed Bonar Bain to Hank Bain, presumably because the name “Bonar” sounded too phony.
