It would have been cool if his twin had been named Darnoc.
He seemed like a likable role model, playing himself, rather than being an actor playing a role.

I first remember him from Maude. He played Walter’s old army buddy friend. Walter was Maude’s husband.

Bill Macy is the only one left alive. 
God! Bill Macy is still alive! The last time I saw him was when he played a demon in an outstanding episode of Millennium, and that was more than fifteen years ago and he looked ancient then!
I assume that was from that great SCTV episode?
Of course. They renamed Bonar Bain to Hank Bain, presumably because the name “Bonar” sounded too phony.
