Not a frequent user here, but only because of lack of time.
I was turned onto these boards a lot time ago by my friend Allen, who went by Onomatopoeia on these boards. He loved this place and engaged in some really thought provoking conversations.
We lost touch in recent years, which makes me sad. I only just today learned that he passed away 2 weeks ago. I wanted to share it here in case any of you were close to him.
