I’ll miss him.
That is very sad. 56 is too young. Ted may have been my favourite character on Scrubs.
Oh, no!!!
Lloyd as Ted the lawyer stole so many scenes on Scrubs.
Criminy…
Wow, I would’ve guessed he was older. He was very good at playing the sad-sack hospital lawyer on Scrubs. I hadn’t known he was one of the aliens in Galaxy Quest, too.
May he rest in peace.
RIP. Nephew of Christopher Lloyd. You can see the resemblance!
Just watched an old Seinfeld and realized he was the creepy guy on the subway who became smitten with Elaine, and turned her TV Guide into a bouquet.
Then later he turned out to be the guy who designed the mannequin that looked just like Elaine.
He was great as Ted the lawyer on Scrubs. I didn’t realize he was that young. He’s younger than me!
(I guess I’m getting to the age where I better start getting used to it.)
It blows my mind that he was 38 when he started Scrubs.
I’m not knocking the actor but I was reading how a gofundme account or something was set up for his family for funeral or medical expenses or something. Does nobody else have a huge problem with that, I’ve seen that from a couple news stories of dead or dying minor celebrities, just seems so loathsome for someone who presumably made way more money in their careers than most people can imagine.
Years of cancer treatment also probably costs more money than you can imagine.
Medical expenses can quickly outrun the resources of a moderately successful actor. I don’t think character actors get paid nearly what you think they get.
Aaron Eisenberg had set up an account for fans to hepl with his expenses too.
I remember Lloyd for his cry of : “Peons Assemble”.
Idk, most actors are actually in unions and have health insurance through their unions, I’m assuming with better benefits than most of us plebs, but I wont hijack the thread any further.
Hell of a singer, too.
He just had his first child last year. A terrible shame.
