God I love Scrubs!

Just watched an episode on Comedy Central. Remember the part when JD is trying to hit on the black bartender girl who has an asshole boyfriend.

Girl: Actually I don’t intend to work in a bar for the rest of my life. I am studying for a Master’s Degree in Political Science.
JD: Oh I love Politics
JD’s inner monologue: What are you doing!?! You know nothing about politics!! Unless she asks about Bush or that bald co-president who has all the heart attacks.
Sorry, I had to share it! Please feel free to share your favorite Scrubs moments here.

I saw one recently where the Janitor, Todd, the Lawyer (Ted?), and Laverne all have it in for JD for some reason. At one point, they walk through the lobby giving JD the “evil eye” in slow motion while some ominous music plays. The Janitor stops and berates Ted for giving “sad eye.” Ted responds that that’s the only type of eye he can give.

It was much funnier on the TV, promise.

The one with Ted the Lawyer and his a capella group. Love that one.

Dude, that’s like fifteen episodes.

“Two guys smashed your bike with crowbars, and one of them wasn’t me.”

Yup, that’s what I meant  Love it whenever they were on screen. Ted’s my favourite character in the series actually.

Sam Lloyd, the actor who plays Ted, actually has a CD with his real a capella group, the Blanks:

The hands-down funniest Scrubs moment for me was David Copperfield’s cameo. I believe it’s out there on YouTube.

HOHO MAGIC

Definitely top two.

I loved Rowdy and all his crazy antics. I was sad when he left the show.

I get a quadruple dose…7p-8p on Comedy Central, then a local Orlando affiliate shows them 8p-9p. I’m getting Ivylad hooked on them…he likes Cox a lot, although he admits if he were an intern he’d probably punch Cox in the face.

I think Cox is my favorite. His abrasiveness is all the better when he does give that rare “attaboy.”

Of course, the best episode is the one with Jack’s birthday party. You know the one I mean. :frowning:

I get the Comedy Central dose from 7 to 8, and I get a local UPN dose at 6:00, plus a double dose at 11:30 (if I can stay up that late) on WGN.

I also own the first three seasons on DVD. I’ve asked for the fourth season for my birthday next week. Scrubs goodness!

I like the one with Colin Hay from Men At Work. It’s the season opener from Season 2. He follows JD around singing “Overkill” untill the very end when Perry grabs his guitar and smashes it against the wall - but that’s just a fantasy. You can see him trying not to laugh.

One of my favorite episodes is “My Old Lady” from Season 1, and “My Screw-up” from Season 3. It’s the one with Brendan Fraiser as Jordan’s brother and how Cox deals with his leukemia - there’s a twist in it. Kills me every time I see it.

I also like Rowdy. I like the one where Carla tries to clean him and loses him, only to replace him with a lookalike that’s 2 inches shorter. Turk sort of notices, but Carla distracts him with sex.

I only recently discovered the show now that Comedy Central picked it up in syndication, but oh my lord, it’s hilarious. Incredibly writing, creative story telling, and sharp, sharp actors. The DVDs just went on my Christmas list.

Cox: “We’ll be bestest friends foreverest if you stay outta my face, rawr!”

We’re only up to season 4, which we just finished watching on DVD.

When the happy psychiatrist lady was trying to describe people as types of chocolates, Dr Cox says: “They’re bastard-coated bastards with bastard filling.” That’s our new favorite line.

One of my favorite scenes is from season 1 when Turk is going to remove JD’s appendix and he does the little “I get to cut you ooooo-pen” song and dance.

The new season starts in a few weeks on Thursdays. We will see it paired with The Office and Earl!

I saw that one the other day. it’s actually the music from the movie “Koyanisqaatsi” that’s playing.

I, too have recently developed an appreciation for the show (it’s on later at night that I used to be up. but now I have a baby that has a lot of say in my sleep patterns)
Three episodes a night here - currently one from Season 3 and then two from Season 1.
I’m really looking forward to the new season.

Just finished Season 4 on DVD, now we’ve seen every episode!

I still love the “I told you so” dance.

So many of the throwaway bits are hilarious.

JD: Why the big X?
Janitor: Why the stupid face?
JD: Touche.

Kelso: Paging Dr. Backbone to the bajinga ward.

JD: And then I thought about the circus for some reason . . .

Generally Janitor and Ted will crack me up. I also love Kelso’s family life.

I’m psyched for the new season - yay!

Is it wrong that I hope to grow up to be just like Dr. Cox?

Is it wrong that I grew up and I’m just like Dr. Cox but without the good, caring part, only in a different industry?

I thought I read somewhere that the Janitor ad-libs a lot of his lines. Anyone confirm that?
