Actress Shannen Doherty, famous for her role in Charmed, has died of cancer.
My sister is a huge fan of the show and is devastated.
53! That’s always a shock.
Her battle is over.
Thats a rare instances of deaths coming in 3s.
Perhaps more famous for her role in Beverly Hills 90210.
Although I first remember her in Our House, with Wilfred Brimley. She was 7 years older than me, and I remember having a bit of a crush on her when I first saw her.
Mall Rats here. Sad news.
She battled cancer for a long, long time. RIP.

I remember her in Magnum PI. She was still a kid!
We watched every episde of 90210 when it came out. I recently saw an add for a con which will include many of the actors and there was a specific mention that Jason Priestly couldn’t make it. Looking at the picture, it reminded me that Luke Perry was already gone. And I just looked at he was 52 when he died, so he was younger than I am now.
And now Shannen Doherty is gone as well. I keep forgetting that’s she’s actully younger than me.
RIP.

That’s where I first saw her too. Good wholesome family show I used to watch with my mom. Then it got cancelled. And then my mom heard that that nice Shannon Doherty was going to be in a new show about two Midwestern kids who move to California with their family. After watching the first episode of 90210 together, my mom quickly realized this wasn’t going to be Our House 2.0. 
My daughter loved Charmed when she was little. She’ll be upset when she hears the news.
RIP, Shannen. 
Wasn’t she Cassandra on “Little House on the Prairie”? You know, from after the fictional Ingalls started picking up all these stray kids while totally ignoring Carrie and Grace Ingalls, who actually existed?

Sad to hear. I once had an indirect interaction with her when Beverly Hills, 90210 first aired. Doherty had a friend who was friends with my friend. The friend called my friend one evening to see what he was up to.
My friend asks me, “Do you know who Shannen Doherty is? She’s an actress and visiting [friend] and they want to go hang out.”
Me: “I think she’s on that teenybopper show Beverly Hills something on Fox.”
My friend repeats this into the phone and then starts laughing after a pause. He looks at me and says “I heard her friend in the background say ‘Fuck that guy’.”
We both thought that was pretty funny. Maybe we should have met them.
