Choate had a pretty fair number of roles, but was probably most “recognizable” (if you can call it that) as “Zathras” in a small–but unforgettable–number of B5 appearances. One of the first roles I saw him in was an interesting movie from the early 80s called “The First Time.” Worth a look if you get a chance.
This is two B5 alumni just this year, Richard Biggs having died of an apparent aortal tear (the same thing that felled John Ritter a year ago).
