IMHO there are some things that are appropriate to parody and some things that are so inherently disgusting that parody is inappropriate. A parody of these two instances is just cheap, stupid and insensitive.

When you do parody you should take on someone that can defend themselves. Dead children and innocent victims aren’t a funny or clever subject matter.

Again, just my opinion.

If you are serious, YOU are the reason for a thread like this. RO is inherently open for parody. It is the nature of RO. Especially too much RO.

RO threads are treated like stepchildren around here. The idea being they are not serious enough for The Pit, I gather. I’m no Frank lover, but I do agree that this OP missed the mark a tad. To my way of thinking, a good parody would have mocked the outrage more (than the invented transgressions).

The OP then answers a criticism with, “You think I’m hot, don’t cha”? Sorry, I would rather read RO threads than this kind of schoolyard childishness.
