2 liter bottle of Mountain Dew, a pack of Hostess cupcakes and a bag of beef jerky.
Mountain Dew = bathroom stop.
A few bags of Cracker Barrel Malted Milk Balls, a cheese Danish and my ever-present bottle of Walmart fizzie-water.
Blueberry muffin, granny smith apple, sparkling water(lime or lemon).
Large Sonic unsweet tea. 2 corndogs. Bag of sour jelly bellies.
(Merle Haggard’s greatest hits CD box set :))
^ Hey, Beck, VOW is looking for you.
Twizzlers, pretzels and Coke Zero
Chilled water, a pork pie and a caramalised red onion and feta filo pastry tart. Perfect picnic food.
Pizza Nostra 26 inch pizza with chicken, bacon and avocado, a bag of Chili Cheese Fritos and a 2 liter Diet Cherry Dr. Pepper.
Road trips are the only time I drink soda (no real reason, I just don’t drink sodas much), so probably a 20oz Pepsi, bag-o-beef jerky and corn nuts.
Wife and I do a lot of road trips. Did a 4500 mile one last Sept. She is doing a 3000 mile round drive on her own coming up in August. Gonna visit family. I’m staying home as the timing is bad for me to go.
It depends on when we leave. If it’s morning, I’d take coffee. After lunch it would be water. I don’t usually eat on the road, but it would probably be trail mix or fig bars.
I’m good. Six hours isn’t nearly long enough for me to get hungry or thirsty.
Coffee, coffee ice cream, and Coffee Thins candies.
Big Gulp of Diet Coke, Bag of Maui Onion flavored potato chips, and bucket of fried chicken (bottoms only).
If it’s morning, a large diet coke, a breakfast sandwich, and some easy-to-eat fruit, like grapes or apple slices. Any time after noon, it’d be a jug of water, the same fruit, and pretzels.
Probably a 1L bottle of water, a big bag of peppered beef jerky, and a nut-heavy trail mix.
I’m doing a road trip next month, and we’ll have several 6-hour (and 8 hour, and 5 hour…) days. We’ll have a cooler of bottled water, maybe some Mio or Crystal Light to break up the liquid monotony, the aforementioned beef jerky and trail mix, and probably some chips like Pringles for the kids.
None of us are big on eating in the car, but I always, even running errands around town, keep something to drink next to me.
Anyone have a good line on industrial-sized bags of beef jerky?
Pepperoni cracker Combos, a family sized bag of Peanut M&M’s and a 44oz Diet Dr. Pepper fountain drink.
At least a 20 oz. Diet Coke, large bag of Doritos, and, at this time of year, a large bag of cherries. I might sub out smoked almonds for the Doritos if I want a touch more protein.
A bag of cashews, a bag of grapes (or cherries if they’re in season) and a bottle of ice tea.
No kidding. A bottle of water perhaps.
