In case the hamsters are overtired, in a nutshell what happened was this: Several bronze nudes by this one artist were variously toppled, bashed, or broken by unknown vandals who apparently singled out this one artist’s work.
So what I’m wondering now is, are there any UCLA affiliated Dopers who know of any further developments of this story? Has anyone been caught? Has anyone even learned what motivated them to do it?
Another story, that didn’t mention the accused by name, said the man was known to UCLA police as someone who often complained to them about the presence of nude statues on the UCLA campus.
