Robert Kennedy Jr: "Sirhan Sirhan didn't do it"

Can’t say I have heard all of this before, is any of this new at all? It’s a second shooter theory with some agreement from people who were on the scene.

Dennis

He’s also an anti vax nutcase. He needs to be ignored.

Isn’t he the guy who used to do a shit ton of heroin?

He’s a conspiracy nutjob who refuses to believe basic facts.

Ignore him.

The left would love to dig up JFK so they could live it up again but all they have is this fruit fallen far from the tree.

Huh?

I should have written Democrats instead of the Left - Sorry!

Excuse me if I’ve been misled, but didn’t Sirhan Sirhan explain his reason for doing it?

From the linked article, quoting another victim of Sirhan’s rampage:

“Yes, he did shoot me. Yes, he shot four other people and aimed at Kennedy,” Schrade told the Washington Post. “The important thing is he did not shoot Robert Kennedy. Why didn’t they go after the second gunman? They knew about him right away. They didn’t want to know who it was. They wanted a quickie.”

Yeah, right. Authorities wanted to cover up the existence of a second shooter because…well, because it was a conspiracy and they were Evil. :smack:

No wonder this stuff appeals to RFK Jr., who’s irresistibly attracted to conspiracy-mongering.

One glaring inaccuracy in the original linked article, which states that RFK Jr. “argued last year that certain vaccines were unsafe for children”. In reality, RFK Jr. has been a full-on antivaxer since at least 2005, when his article “Deadly Immunity” was published in Salon and Rolling Stone, alleging a pro-vaccine conspiracy. It was so riddled with errors that Salon eventually retracted it.

What does that have to do with RFK Jr speculating about who assasinated his father?

I have to go to the art show, but I’ll be back later to explain my convoluted thought process. In detail.

RFK Jr. suffers from a combination of privilege, tragedy, and drugs. He is a nice guy, but a bit tetched in the haid.

So if there was a 2nd gunman you either have:

a) someone who thought that the crazy Sirhan Sirhan was someone who could be worked with.

b) just someone who had a gun around RFK and decided that when Sirhan started shooting that this was a golden opportunity.

RFK conspiracies don’t get much traction because unlike JFK the Assassin lived, and unlike MLK they forced a full trial so that questions were answered.

What people will do for publicity.

I was at the art show, but I didn’t see you around.

I was there, my wife bought a picture of a mushroom. I also saw carp feeding on surface vegetation - I always thought of them as bottom feeders.

I think the Democrats want a Kennedy to go against Trump - and pretty much they’ll take what they can get. So some Democratic operative approaches Rob Jr. and says “Hey, if you’re president, you can get your boy outta jail.” So RK Jr. is like, “I’m listening” and they form a plan to get his name out so they go for some conspiracy shit and put it on Fox news thinking they can make some inroads on the Ron Paul Republican demographic. They’re also thinking they can get some of that Alex Jones crowd. He’s also got street cred for all his attempts to get Skakel out of lockup - the urban minorities can relate to that. The Kennedy name will conjure up images of the past, and the media will start showing old clips of JFK - he would have wiped the floor with Trump or any one else on the political landscape that’s out there now.

Haven’t you ever seen feeding time at a koi pond? Or had a bowl of goldfish? Of course they’re surface feeders.

Catfish, otoh.

In other words, you got nuttin’. Even if the Dems wanted a Kennedy there are tons out there, many of whom are not nuts.
Plus you’d think that a Middle Easterner as the bad guy would play well. Bobby was the first casualty of ISIS!

Sirhan Sirhan was an Orthodox Christian born in Jerusalem. He opposed RFK’s plan for the USA to take sides with the Zionists and supply American-made fighter jets to Israel. I’m not saying Mr Sirhan dealt with his anger at all well; but he was acting from patriotism. Calling him ISIS is really insulting.
