You can point out how his remarks (and views on vaccines) are stupid without reference to his drug use. It’s not relevant; it’s not like he’s telling people to give their kids heroin.
I think it is relevant to a discussion of his views on medications in general. Plus a further indication that he is a dumb ass who needs to be hooted off the public stage.

Right – a member of America’s most famous family, with unlimited media access and a permanent platform among half the country, is totally unlike a first-term Senator with a few thousand devotees, in that he can do much more damage with much worse beliefs about vaccines.
I knew the Kennedy family was devoted to destroying America, but outright advocating the murder of children is a new low even for this band of trash.
