Rock/Alternative/Pop/Indie,etc songs with clapping

Hi Dope.

I’m assembling a playlist of music that involves clapping. I generally prefer rock music, but I’ll take any suggestions. So far, I’ve thought of these:

‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’ by Queen
‘My Best Friend’s Girl’ by The Cars
‘The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song’ by The Flaming Lips
‘Jack and Diane’ by John Cougar Mellencamp
‘Car Wash’ by Rose Royce

There are many others. Help me. Thanks in advance, Dope.

I Want to Hold Your Hand, The Beatles.
Take the Money and Run, Steve Miller Band.

Who are you, The Who

More Than A Feelin’- Boston

Didn’t “Mickey” by Toni Basil have some clapping in it?

On the Radio - Regina Spektor

Panda Bear - Track 5 off of “Young Prayer”

Linkin Park - Bleed It Out

S-a-t-u-r-d-a-y! Night!

Deep in the Heart of Texas.

The Bonzo Dog Band version of “I Left My Heart in San Francisco.”

I think “Roam” by the B-52s has some.

Siouxsie & the Banshees: Carcass.

Try clapping along with Unsquare Dance by the Dave Brubeck Quartet.

“Do Anything You Wanna Do” by Eddie and the Hot Rods
“Alex Chilton” by The Replacements

“Big Log” by Robert Plant

“The Weeping Song” by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Some clapping just before the refrain, but not a whole lot.

Any number of Motown songs from the '60s have prominent clapping, such as:
Martha & The Vandellas - Jimmy Mack
The Supremes - Where Did Our Love Go, Baby Love, Come See About Me, etc.
The Miracles - The Way You Do The Things You Do
Marvin Gaye - How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)

There are tons and tons of indie pop songs out there that will involve clapping, but I am only going to recommend two songs:

“Clap Hands” by Beck

and (I’m going to boldface this because I feel pretty strongly about recommending it)

"Clapping" by The Animals

“The Death of Ferdinand de Saussure” on 69 Love Songs by The Magnetic Fields.

“Silver Lining” by Rilo Kiley
