I’ve been wondering for some time what drug “drano” refers to. The only time I’ve ever heard it has been in songs. In “New Kind Of Kick,” by The Cramps, it is the kick that comes just before “whack attack,” which refers to PCP. In “People Who Died,” Bobby OD’d on it on the night that he was wed. Does anyone know what it is that Lux wants, and that did Bobby in?
FWIW, *National Lampoon * has referred to Cocaine as “Inca Face Drano.”
That could be, but it seems like such an obscure way to refer to cocaine. Also, I’ve heard a lot of references to cocaine, and never heard it called that.
I don’t know about drano as lingo for a drug…but I do know drano has been used as an adulterant to beat drug tests.
