I’m kinda saddened at how the article points out that there are people out there who are willing to NOT vote for Obama because they feel he was behind this.
For years one of my dearest hopes was that I would someday be able to see Roger Waters in concert. Now I guess I’m OK with not seeing him. What a putz.

I was in the same boat though I never expected to make it to a concert. Although my political views are similar to Waters’, I have a problem with overt displays of specific politics such as “Vote Obama”. If he just kept it to music, then all’s good, once you start painting the pig with slogans, you’ve jumped the shark as far as I’m concerned, or maybe we could just change that phrase to “painting the pig.”

Don’t let this sour you… Waters puts on a great show. I’ve seen him on every tour from Pros and Cons to the latest a few months ago. If you get a chance, do it!

The chances of seeing Roger, Dave, Nick and Rick together again are tiny. Roger’s shows are the closest you’ll ever come to experiencing a Pink Floyd concert. The full-blown performance of DSOTM is something you’ll never forget.
He’s in Denver tomorrow, then on to Dallas and Houston to finish the USA leg of the tour. Not really in your neighborhood, but I know people who are flying in from Australia to catch the shows.
