Her?
Last scene of the movie. Order comes to the group from HQ, “well done everybody, now please assemble on Alderaan”.
As it’s been established that R2 and C-3PO are his droids, both at the end of SWIII and in Star Wars Rebels, I think this very likely indeed. Still, they might show him handing the droids over to the Princess (however they manage her) on the ship, before heading back to Alderaan.
sigh
Huh?
I liked the trailer. Definitely has more of a “WWII movie” sort of vibe to it - sorta Dirty Dozen-esque, with the focus being on the soldiers on the ground and not so much the grand manipulations happening on top of the pyramid. Definitely looking forward to seeing it when it comes out.
GuanoLad means that Smits’ character will provide that function in the film, not literally play Princess Leia.
That would thought was clear. I didn’t get all the “her” stuff.
Mae Whitman was in Arrested Development. The joke was whenever her character was mentioned they would respond with a confused “Her?” Now whenever I see her spoken of online, it automatically gets a “Her?”
Well, that’ll teach me for jumping in.
That’s a good point. Even within the original films, “Rogue Squadron” is cannon, starting around Empire.
Apparently they are something called an AT-ACT (All Terrain Armored Cargo Transport).
Please excuse the nitpick: Canon
It’s been 11 years since RotS, so Jimmy Smits will be about a decade shy of his character age at this time. But that’s okay, just have him keep this, and he’s alright.
RoTS was shot in 2003.
Seriously? You revive a thread *after a month ** to make a flipping nitpick about a two-year difference? Here I thought something new was happening, like a new trailer or something.
- waiting on you to tell me it’s 5 days shy of a whole month…
New trailer:
Save the [del]cheerleader[/del] Rebellion, save the [del]world[/del] dream
Think I prefer the first one.
Supercut:
Brian
Thanks Jimmy Wordsmits :dubious:
Speculation: if the main character’s father worked on designing the Death Star, and if he was doing so somewhat against his will, I wonder if the weakness with the small thermal exhaust port was an accident at all?
I’m going to preemptively declare how this movie should have ended. She uses her smart phone to upload the death star plans to WikiLeaks.
