I wonder if Rolando McClain has blown his last chance in the NFL? He’s been one of the most interesting comeback stories in years.
McClain has certainly proven in the past he’s not the brightest bulb. I’m thinking arson and McClain is broke.

How is is “very suspicious”? There was nothing in the article that indicates any reason to believe it is arson, or that McClain had something to do with it. Are you in that big of a hurry to rip someone apart that the complete lack of evidence amounts to “very suspicious”?
The only thing we know for certain is that Left-Eye was not involved.
I’m an @$$, I know.
I’m willing to make allowances just for his sense of humor - I forget who Dallas was playing, but the QB shouted “55’s the Mike!” and McClain loudly protested “I"m *not *the Mike!”
I think it’s suspicious because he’s been trying to sell this house for the past few years , including his retirement year and his bizzarre behavior time with Oakland and Baltimore.
Modern houses like this one are very unlikely to just burn to the ground.
Plus, McClain does have a history of knucklehead behavior. Every single one of my coworkers agreed with ms that it sounds like insurance fraud.
Case closed, I guess
I think that’s a different McClain, who plays for the Giants.
This McClain (Rolando) plays *for *Dallas.
If there IS anything suspicious about the fire, I expect the insurance company will investigate it thoroughly.
I’m content to leave this in their capable hands. All I know about the fire is what I read in the OP’s link, and that alone doesn’t give a casual reader any cause for suspicion.

Apparently reports of a car speeding away from the neighborhood. Still pretty circumstantial. at least until arson investigators have a better report.
