Would love to know what you all think. I have two or three more strips in the works, but no firm plans to continue on a regular basis - just getting used to the tools and tricks of the trade for now.

Well, it’s more about the hamsters with the humans providing backdrop. It’s more an experiment at this point than anything else - just getting used to inking, and coloring, and re-acquiring my drawing skills. There’s other non-Critchett stuff coming along, but the Tzeroling’s recent acquisition of a RL hamster provided a number of ideas.
You know, I opened this thread purely because the title read like a palindrome to me. You know how palindromes often have that weird, distinctive cadence and vaguely-related words? “Ten animals I slam in a net” - that sort of thing. Well, the title just sounded that way to me, and I thought it was cool. And if that ain’t mundane and pointless, I don’t know what is.
He’s referencing the creators of Krazy Kat and Pogo, respectively. And respectfully, too, I might add. Two pioneers of the comic strip.
A nice comic, Olentzero. I especially like his teeth, for some reason. Clean lines and good use of color and silhouette, etc. Very well done. And congratulations. I don’t begrudge you your grins.
