The video started with an ad for 7/11 Republican and Democrat coffee cups.
Until I googled it, I honestly thought that ad was made by the Onion. 
7-11 has been doing the coffee cup poll for years.
Actually, I thought this was pretty weak, as Onioning goes. The way the reporters kept interrupting each other breathlessly was off… That’s the way you report an unexpected ongoing event where you’re still getting the details in, not something that you’ve dug up through your research and have all in front of you. Beyond that, video was really the wrong medium for this, anyway: It should have just been a text list to begin with.
