Are they?
Peace,

Ronnie Spector was married to Phil Spector. Her birth name was Veronica Yvette Bennett.
This Regina Spektor (never heard of her until I looked her up) is apparently Russian.
I think the answer is no.
Thanks.
Phil, the producer, is who I actually remembered but I couldn’t recall his first name. But yeah, it doesn’t seem likely they would be related. Her music is pretty heavily produced, though. I think he’s likely to busy right now to work with her anyway.
Extra points;
How did you (they) manage to get a town named San Pablo in Minnesota? I looked it up on mapquest. I got redirected to Swanville.
Hey, I just remembered google earth.
I hope you are kidding, or else I really will have to change my location. I literally posted an explanation in another thread a minute ago. (it’s Saint Paul in Spanish)
How many points do I get???
No, I’m not kidding. I don’t expect to see a lot of spanish name places in your neck of the woods. I don’t think Spain spent a lot of time in Minnesota (or would that be the other way around).
There’s a San Pablo here in California about two miles from my house.
Where’s that other thread?
Now I get it, I think. You translated Saint Paul to the spanish San Pablo. Just for your location.
Right?
I was watching Univision this morning and saw it in a commercial: Minneapolis y San Pablo. I thought it was funny (for some reason).
I’ve noticed that they (Univision) translate US city names to Spanish.
Nuevo York, for example. We do say “Mexico City”, don’t we.
