It’s a non-issue now unless USC kicks a field goal on this drive.
I believe that last time they scored a TD, the PAT put them in the lead by 6, and that was in the third. Would have been too early to go for two when a pair of USC FG’s was a very possible scenario.

That was a terrible call by USC, going for it on that last fourth down outside their 40. Just terrible. It may cost them the game, we’ll see.

That TD managed to be both dramatic and predictable at the same time.
