Roxie's first (and hopefully last) golden shower.

I woke up about half an hour ago and the first stop was the bathroom. No visitors this weekend so I don’t shut the bathroom door all the way. I’m almost done taking a leak when Roxie the kitten comes bounding into the bathroom and jumps for the toilet seat. Guess what’s there instead. She did a pretty good job of not landing in the water but she got her first golden shower. She jumped down and raced into the living room. I’m thinking she will clean herself and all will be fine. Nope, she decides to bring her still wet self into my office and want some petting and attention. Well before I pet a peed on cat she is going to get cleaned up so I take her into the bathroom and give her a bath in the sink. She didn’t fight too much after I soaped her up and she appeared to enjoy the rinse part. I dried her off and now I have a damp kitten that smell like peaches climbing all over me. And hopefully she learned a lesson too.

Yes, she learned that she gets LOTS of extra attention and a warm bath when she jumps in the toilet!

Lesson for the day, kids: Close the door when using the facilities.

Another lesson…when you have a cat, you never pee alone.

You realise that this thread title cought my eye.

All appears to be well, however. As you were.

Do you mean that in a pervish way?

Is there any other way to think of a golden shower?

And admit it, did any of us look at this thread thinking it was going to be about a kitty???
