OK, thanks for the cite, and I concur. Though I do think this comment means that he hasn’t “jumped on an Anti-Keane Media Bandwagon, in a bid to revive his career”, nor is a “golddigger” - and his nasty-piece-of-workness doesn’t exclude Keane from that title.
I presume that’s the story according to Keane/Dunphy. Having been on the receiving end of anti-English sentiment from (thankfully) only a couple of your fellow countrymen over the years, I didn’t dismiss the original quote so lightly - because it was phrased so accurately.
Maybe when Keane is 35, and no longer able for the hard slog of Premiership Life, and fancies only three or four big games a season against Rangers, then he will go to scotland and play for a few seasons for his beloved Celtic, Keane needs a challenge, and Scottish football can never provide a challenge up to the standards Keane demands.
Oh, and another thing, Scotland can keep the Old Firm, the last thing the Premier League needs is two bunches of religious bigots.
Surely the cite proves both these points beyond any reasonable doubt?
This is the story from the Kenae/Dunphy book, you’re right, but I doubt if Keane did call McCarthy an “English C**t”, how long do you think he’d last at an English club with that kind of attitude…a club where an English man(Gary Neville) is so listened to in the dressing room?
The comments in the cite were made in the week of the incident in May 2001…Haaland has come out this week and said he was going to take a case against Keane for for injuring him, that was this week…
and if this doesn’t prove that he has

“There were also some false reports attributed to me today claiming that I will definitely not be taking legal action”
This is a quote from the same website where I found the previous cite. It is from Haaland, he says the reports that he WONT be taking legal action are false, and that he still may do so.
Personally I think that with this injury to his left knee, and the Keane tackle to his right one, he won’t have a leg to stand on:smack:
The US have a very good international record They play very well as a team. It’s not that pretty sometimes but their record speaks for itself. They are a good team, and if they can get out of a qualifying group in the world Cup itself, they are a good team. As for Fifa Rankings, I take them with a pinch of salt.
According to the Telegraph today (and no doubt the pikey papers too) RK did NOT submit the book for formal clearance by MUFC, but gave it to Ferguson to glance at.
The FA are also saying that as he got the usual unfeasibly light manyoo style three match ban they can’t charge him again. Bah!
