Roy Moore running for Senate again

He will likely win this time since he will have Trump’s coattails.

I don’t think he’ll win the primary.

Particularly not if Sessions gets in it.

I just keep wondering how much the Dems paid him.

Sessions says he has no plans to return to Senate

People say they aren’t running and then run all the time, but I believe the magical little racist elf this time for some reason.

Tommy Tuberville is in.

He certainly seems to face a strong headwind from the national party - McConnell vows to ‘vigorously’ oppose Moore’s Senate bid

I bet he wins the nomination going away. His followers may be batshit, but they’re loyal batshit. You don’t need the national committee to get the nomination, you just need enough fanatics. This is about the only way Democrats have a prayer at keeping the seat.

Sessions won’t run because as a Senator he’d be faced with a choice between being a toady to the man who fired him or being a leper in his own party if he opposes him.

And if Moore manages to GET the nomination McConnell will then give him vigorous support against Doug Jones. Cuz that’s what evil pieces of shit do.

I’d vote for Tommy.

He is hated by some Auburn backers, and maybe by the non- Lee county part of the state.

From your link:

I think this translates as “I can’t find anybody dumb enough to unpocket serious bucks for my campaign.”

He is the gift that keeps on giving. I am more optimistic than the OP. Remember, Democrats run strongest in presidential years.

There’s still time for him to turn it around I guess, but it seems that managing to screw up winning as a Republican in Alabama tends to make one rather unpopular even in a Republican primary.

Bummer.

LOL at “margin of error of 3.96 percent”.
