Seriously. I live in Massachusetts, and I seriously considered voting for Brown. I don’t support him at all, but Massachusetts Democrats are just way too complacent. Voting a Republican in will be good for the state, even though it hurts the country. And it sucks that the Dems lost the filibuster-proof majority, but they’re weren’t using it anyway.
Well, here you have a point, and I want to extend my personal apologies. At the time, I really didn’t know, for a fact, that you were a bunch of needle-dicked gerbil fuckers. And that makes it very different, that makes it hurtful and mean, and I’m sure I speak for many of us when I say we’re really sorry. You know what’s worse than the (Republicans/Democrats)?

I don’t care who you are or what letter is stamped on your forehead. If you are one of those people who believe that your way is the ONLY way and that everyone else’s ideas are shit, then you are part of the PROBLEM. Our very constitution was drafted in the spirit of compromise. We’re losing that ability, to the detriment of everyone.
Admittedly both sides have problems. But the right is the side that uses outright lies and fear-mongering as a standard tool.
Brown lied in his acceptance speech. He said HCR would cost us money and burden us with deficits. That’s simply untrue, the CBO says it will save us money, a little in the first ten years and substantially in the second.
But no one mentions it because people just expect Republicans to lie. The Democrats aren’t perfect, but they aren’t systemically as unabashedly dishonest as the current crop of Republicans.
But really Dio, you tie your line to the Dems that much? An actual political party? As the kids say, for serious? Someone like you isn’t supposed to get emotionally attached. Just pull up a chair, Carlin style, and watch the kabuki / carnage.
