So I’m cruising around the fora, as I sometimes do. Actually, I haven’t been cruising much, as I surf at work, and well, that dastardly thing called work has gotten in the way. But I finally come up for air, and get to catch up on the latest threads.
I start at the BBQ Pit, move up to MPSIMS, then to IMHO. What? What’s this? 3, count 'em 3 active threads by our local favorite Rue. Then I check back a few hours later, and with his follow up to the tea thread, he’s now got 4 of 'em.
Who let him out of his MPSIMS cage, people? We can’t have people randomly posting to other forums!!!
So because you’ve been askin’ all sorts of questions, I’m going to divert your attention back to MPSIMS with a little random tale of my workaday life.
Today at 2pm (Pacific) my department (Accounting/Finance, if you must know) had a frozen yogurt party. Chocolate soft serve, Dreyers vanilla, and Dreyers vanilla fat free. Oh, and there was a platter of cookies there, too. The cookies from our cafeteria, which are REALLY, REALLY good.
So I had a cupful of the fat free vanilla, counterbalanced by 2 white chip macadamia cookies and 1 chocolate chip cookie. I’m in cookie coma.
On Halloween our company had a pumpkin carving contest. My department’s submission won 3rd place, which was a frozen yogurt party in the cafeteria. Which is how this all came to pass. Our pumpkin was carved in the “puking up the innards” style, complete with gold coins & glitter. The title of our piece was “Budget Aftermath”. Trust me, I’ve been up to my eyelids in budget, and I want to puke. So it was an appropriate carving.
Well, that’s my MPSIMS story for the day. How 'bout “yue”, Rue?
